He sets his creatures up in a no win situtation. Obey and be his little obedient mindless lapdog, or he will throw you to watch you swim forever in a lake of fire! This god is a dick.Stardusthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10560872454564355114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18955218.post-1167455317548071922006-12-29T23:08:00.000-06:002006-12-29T23:08:00.000-06:00It all can't really be taken literally, it just wo...It all can't really be taken literally, it just would never make sense, and it all seems like such petty nonsense to a "god."<BR/>Christians like to say they choose between good and evil, according to their little book that has been written and edited over the past 1800ish years, but they present themselves with only internal struggle. Things labeled as evil, like eating the fruit of knowledge (all xians and believers of nonsense do not like truth and knowledge, it disproves and disrupts their fantasy), basic instincts like sex, swearing, etc, are all things humans want and pursue. Xians hate themselves for all this "evil" and that is why they are fake to everyone else (like being pleasant though they think you are the devil), and condemn others because they only condemn the things they wish to possess freely if their religion would let them. Hypocrites...<BR/>To me, god is definitely a moron, and not all powerful and omniscent... only a mere being with a few creative powers, fighting others for control over such small insignificant creatures. He must either be bored or shallow, because if I were him, I'd disintegrate myself if I had to hear millions of prayers every day about "saving little Fifi" and "please make me a better christian."Jeffrey H Bowdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16722876534959514659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18955218.post-1167314561277506102006-12-28T08:02:00.000-06:002006-12-28T08:02:00.000-06:00In reading the Old Testament, I think one conclusi...In reading the Old Testament, I think one conclusion is inescapable: If there is a god, it is an evil god.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18955218.post-1167312357132997602006-12-28T07:25:00.000-06:002006-12-28T07:25:00.000-06:00Once God set up the conditions in the Garden of Ed...Once God set up the conditions in the Garden of Eden, thou shalt not eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he imparted knowledge of good end evil. Don't eat fruit = good, eat fruit = evil. And being the omniscient God he is supposed to be, somehow he couldn't see it coming that Adam and Eve would eat the fruit (or that the snake had such powers of persuasion).<BR/><BR/>This God is a moron, right. Not only does he fail to create what he wants in humanity, he then goes on to blame humanity for those failures. If a building falls down, you don't blame the building, you blame the builder or the architect. If ever there is or was a god, it's pretty clear that it's all his fault.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
