The most striking is how the Apocalypse serves as an idee fixe.

They both predict the world is going to end over and over and again. Now matter how many failed predictions they make-- Jimmah Carter claiming the United States was going to run out of energy in 1990, to Paul Ehrlich's claims that the United States will be dying of thirst in 1984, no one holds them accountable.

They simply throw contradictory evidence down the memory hole, since the jihad against capitalism and corporate greed^tm cannot be jettisoned.jhbowdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12377271992125388319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18955218.post-83853848558346925132007-04-06T03:23:00.000-05:002007-04-06T03:23:00.000-05:00Global Warming is indeed a complex phenomena... ot...Global Warming is indeed a complex phenomena... otherwise we'd fully understand it by now. It also isn't *all* our fault - though we are significant players and we can do something about it. All we need is the will to do so.

This will probably happen after a few climate related disasters. Hopefully before too many people die.CyberKittenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06394155516712665665noreply@blogger.com
