I laughed out loud when I read this.
I have had so many xians tell me that I am not being open-minded because I won't accept their gawd beliefs and I keep saying that freethought does not mean "gullible."
So, what have I missed? haha
Interesting article. Brings to mind the point I usually make about religion. We used to think the world was flat, the sun revolved around the Earth and the Pharoahs were gods themselves.

Shoot! Now I know why my debates with xians have thus far been futile.
Just set up my own atheist blog. There's only one post so far, but I will write more soon.

I am so sick of xians calling me a hypocrite because I call myself a freethinker. Freethinker does not mean that I should consider that Isis, Cronus, or Mr. Sandman are real. Freethinkers are not airheads that just consider anything and everything to be true. I am so glad I am "DEPROGRAMMED"
