I wish I had seen this cartoon before I tried to explain to someone that atheists did not (necessarily) have a religion and that monotheists were atheists when it comes to all other gods. Thanks for the laugh.

Hi Stardust,

That is an utterly brilliant cartoon; I'd never thought of the argument like that. Thanks for providing a little bit of extra ammo.

Cassandra...where have you been?!
Did you go on vacation and not want to come back? :-D

Duane - I am definitely going to use this one also. I should print out a copy and carry it around and just show it...it speaks louder than words.

adam - I never thought of this argument either until I read an article about it on Positive Atheism (I think it was that website) and then along comes this cartoon on the Frenetic Wanderings comic site.

Thanks guys for stopping by and commenting!

Nice cartoon.

Claiming atheism is a religion is like saying not having sex is a form of having sex, not eating ice cream is a form of eating ice cream, not being in Philadelphia is a form of being in Philadelphia -- an abuse of language.
