Another Year Older

I am now 52 years-old. It seems as we get older, the faster the years go by. I always say that life is like being on a conveyor belt that is always moving forward. Some people fall off of the conveyor belt before reaching the end, some fall off sooner than others and a few lucky ones make it to the very end and a very old age. I hope I can hang on for a long time yet. and as my favotire quote says:

I, not events,
have the power
to make me happy or unhappy today.

I can choose which it shall be.
Yesterday is dead,
tomorrow hasn't arrived yet.

I have just one day, today,
and I am going to be happy in it.

Happy belated B-day, darlin'.
Ain't it odd, that as kids, the time dragged by, & we were always in a hurry, but in old age, the time flies, but we take our time?
When everyone sung "Happy Birthday", did anyone chime in w/"& many mooorrree" at the end?

Now that you mention it, no one did sing the "many mooorrree" part at the end till I was in my 40s! I guess we are officially middle age when they start adding that! LOL!
