Peanut Butter Atheists!

What is it with these superstitious folks and food? Not only do they experience hallucinatory visions in various foodstuffs, they are obsessed with food to the point of using it to try to explain away scientific research and evidence for complicated natural processes, such as evolution and other complexities of life. (You all probably remember me talking about the pastor of a church I attended a long time ago who compared life to an Oreo cookie.)

We had the ridiculously stupid Kirk Cameron atheist nightmare banana video about a year ago, and now, as areyoustilllistening says, “Chuck Missler takes the misunderstanding of evolution to a whole new level!” These people have no clue about evolution or about science in general for that matter.

There’s also a version someone made with a laugh track.

I didn't realize this till I posted this today that Atheist Jew made his own little video and posted about this very thing back on April 4th. It's quite hilarious: More Fun Using Peanut Butter To Disprove Evolution

When bananas and peanut butter are invoked in support of religious dogma, the desperation on behalf of those religious individuals doing the invoking is palpable. Hilarious stuff, all in all.

jd, all of this talk has made me hungry for a peanut butter and banana sandwich. LOL!

I wonder how long Chuck Missler would last if he were to be vacuum packed into a giant Skippy jar? Someone should ask him if his god would come break the seal and let him out before he suffocated.

I submit this

dan, your "submission" only proves that the god of your xian mythology is a terrorist.

We atheists do not believe any gods exist, and that includes yours. It's very sad that you choose to live your life afraid of something that does not exist, and for which the only "evidence" you have is contained in an ancient mythology book written from human imaginations.

It would be great to do a spoof of this video in which the chestburster from Alien leaps out of the peanut butter jar and attacks the reverend!

Dan, that was such a non sequitur.

OT, it looks like Jason's new blog ran out of steam.
