Sun of God?

Thanks to BEEP! BEEP! IT'S ME for this one. This brief video brings up many points that I have pondered over the years about the formation of religions and where these ideas all stemmed from. It makes sense since our whole existence depends upon the sun. The sun sustains life and our world. The sun is so bright we cannot look upon it with the naked eye without being blinded. We cannot stay in the sun for very long before we are burned. “There is the Father, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto, whom no man hath seen, nor can see; of such transcendent glory, of such all-consuming brightness of holiness, that no man could look upon Him and live. ” Exodus 33:20

beepbeep - The sun worship makes a bit more sense than worshipping an invisible imaginary friend who does nothing but behave as a impotent bystander. . . at least the sun does do things for us, and we can see it, and feel it and it's reliable...for the next few billion years, anyway.
