Obama and the magical wall

The news today published the paper that Obama wrote on and stuck in the magical wall in Jerusalem a few days ago. He wrote:

‘Lord — Protect my family and me, Forgive me my sins, and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will.’

IMO, Obama is far more fervent a believer than GW is. Let’s hope his god is more intelligent than GWs.

That should not be public, there is a sense of privacy about the papers put into that wall that should be respected.
I'm sure such a sentiment would also be spoken by Bush or any other believer, it seems like pretty moderate to me.

hi hugo, I do agree that it was rather unprofessional to take out his note and publish it. And I don't blame magical thinkers to be angry about it.

However, if this were a republican candidate placing that paper into the magical wall no matter what it said, liberals here would have a cow over it. Liberals have had a problem with overly religious conservative candidates and scrutinize every time they mix politics and religion. Now that liberals have a candidate using religion to get the votes of believers, I am finding that they will justify things this candidate is doing that they bash the opposition for.

Obama is not moderate when it comes to his Jesus and his god. He is relying on his imaginary friend to guide him and tell him what to do. Let's just hope that Obama's god is not the same one Bush hears.
