The logic of "God's Will"

greg, it's what they say all the time. Most funerals I have been to, the people say "it was God's will" or "it was his time". They make this up because they want to believe it. They don't want to admit and accept that shit happens. Some things that happen are stupid and preventable. Most accidents are preventable, then tragedies are not avoidable. There are sicknesses we get that are avoidable...therefore if a person would have taken better care of themselves, it's preventable and the resulting death was not the persons' time, only because of neglect of proper health and self-care. Little children who die...it's not "their time"...young people, etc.

Now a person who lives to full life expectancy, and dies...then it was their time because nature deems it so. But anyone's life who is cut short before then...it is NOT "their time."
