Is anyone paying attention to this?

Here is something that all Americans need to know. It's what I have been saying of the things that go on inside of mosques right on our own soil. Radical muslims are setting up shop under pretenses of being "moderate" but their true intentions are to convert the world to Islam (or kill those who resist, according to their holy scriptures). They are building in numbers, and winning converts every day. This makes xian fundies look like Ned Flanders in comparison. Make sure to watch parts 2 and 3, as well.

here

Caption of video : Chilling undercover investigation into the influence of Saudi Arabian religious extremism throughout the UK. Despite being considered Britain's principal ally in the Middle East, this disturbing report reveals Saudi Arabian Islam - Wahabism - is spreading a message of bigotry and hatred to a section of Muslims and predicting an imminent jihad. An undercover reporter joins Islamic worshippers.

After watching these undercover videos, tell me if I am just being paranoid.

That first part was long, I'll have to watch it later. But I did watch parts 2 and 3. No, I don't think you're paranoid. My sister lives in London and I worry about her safety there. But I have to say: a lot of what the radical Muslims said sounds similar to what fundamentalist Christians in this country say (they don't want to live under any rule but their own, anti-homosexuality, etc.). There's a lot of common ground there, and yet they are enemies. It just seems like the Muslim side is more of an immediate physical threat in Europe and I don't know what can reasonably be done about it.

The KSA has been exporting Wahhabi terrorists to the US for years now. Yet we don't do air strikes on their terrain at all. When was the last time the US went after anyone in the KSA? Never, far as I know.
No, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you.

The difference is that radical muslims are not afraid to die for their god while taking a bunch of "heathens" with them. And the governments of muslim countries condone hands and feet being chopped off for crimes committed, public hangings of homosexuals from cranes high in the air for all to see, and public stonings of individuals who commit premarital sex and/or adultry, etc.

It's a good thing we have laws in this country to protect us against the believed commands of gods. But as history has shown, things can change and we could all find outselves wearing burqas and bowing towards Mecca 5 times a day.

I can understand your being worried about your sister. I worry about my daughter being out east and she is often in NYC riding the subway and taking flights there because of her work. (she is a professional musician)

KA - I can't understand why most people are just sloughing this off as "they're just blowing hot air". If you take a look at the websites for the mosques here in the USA, you can see exactly what they are saying. They settle here, fit in, then start demanding their way in the name of Allah. They are already starting with demands for keeping men out of sporting events when their daughters' schools play against public schools, separate prayer rooms at airports (which they are getting at a lot of airports now), muslim cabbies not accepting certain customers, calls to prayers being blared over neighborhood loudspeakers that are louder and more obnoxious than church bells, etc. Our focus is always on the fundie xians, but we really need to keep an eye on both of these groups now and what they are up to.

If xtians took their holy book as literally as they claim to, then we would have all those public stonings, etc. But I know what you mean. Europe has a big problem on their hands.
I think xtians and muslims both are against freedom...muslims are just currently the more demonstrative and violent in their ideology and willingness to die, whereas xtians are more passive-aggressive. I don't deny that those muslims are dangerous, not at all. But I think there is a strain of fundie xtianity that is growing bolder...have you seen "Jesus Camp?" In it, there is some admiration for muslims who are willing to die for their cause.

Andrea, this is true. Good thing we have governmental laws that override god's laws or I am sure there would be those who would be more than glad to kill or maim in jeebus's name.

Yes, I have seen the Jesus Camp videos and have written about them on this blog, and we have done stories on it at GifS. Good thing that evil witch has shut down camp for awhile, but unfortunately still runs Kids on Fire Ministry. These radicals on both sides have an unhealthy obsession with killing and death.

Oh, all the brainwashed little ones!

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had already blogged about that. I'll go back and look for it.

I'm also grateful for the laws that protect us from religious zeal, at least for the time being.

I just did a quick search for mosques here in Seattle and it seems some have been hit in reprisal attacks, and at least one did have radical ties. So, I still don't know what can be done.

Cool, thanks:)

Funny German song...but scary as hell! Nice militaristic theme they have going there, right?

I actually haven't seen it, just read lots of reviews. I'm afraid I'll get really depressed because of the children.

No one knows what goes on inside these mosques unless one goes in undercover like the person did who made the three videos I linked to. I have never been to a xian church that preached to kill other human beings for their beliefs and the stuff that is shown to be preached inside mosques of islam.

The Jesus camp and Kids on Fire church is small at only 100 members and in the rural area of South Dakota. There are 1.5 BILLION muslims in the world, integrated into our largest and most important cities.

The woman is completely insane. The kids are completely brainwashed. They can turn on the tears for jeebus at the drop of a hat.

One of the mosques that was attacked had a show of support/interfaith service that included Jews and Buddhists. Could be that they were being deceptive for appearance's sake, but I don't know of any conservative xtian church that would allow Buddhists to worship with them without going apeshit about it.

I'm not trying to be play devil's advocate for Muslims though. One billion muslims....too many of whom are radical and the rest just silent or unsure of what to do themselves. That's a problem.
