No Good Choices

I am not the only one who is displeased with our choices this time around. I can't muster enough approval for any of the candidates...not even a third party candidates who are a bunch of kooks.

Here's a piece by John Pilger published in The New Statesman that I posted on my blog:Darwin's Dagger: The Truth Doesn't Hurt Unless It Ought To

But even though Obama doesn't represent any real change (and certainly Clinton would not have) I'll still probably vote for him as the lesser of two evils.

darwin, I am so weary of voting for the "lesser of two evils", I would love to have a candidate I could vote for because I actually feel he or she is the best for this country. We are always having to settle. I may use my freedom to choose and write in a candidate in protest to represent my disillusionment.

As you all know, I'm voting for the lesser socialist.

And believe me, I'd much rather the Democrats take the credit for higher taxes, no drilling in ANWR, the illegal immigration swarm, out of control judges, and so forth. McCain may very well destroy the Republican Party from the inside.

If Obama even offered the Clinton foreign policy I'd vote Bob Barr. Unfortunately Obama's vision is way to the left of Jimmy Carter. I'm putting country above party, though voting for a Democrat like McCain is going to really, really be painful.
