It's so contradictory how god believers will try to keep violence, bloodshed, horror movies, sex, etc. away from their children but buy them Bibles, take them to church where they have the Bible read to them, and encourage them to hear the bloody and gruesome horror story of the crucifixion of a man-god and told it is because they are so very bad that a god had to create a son for himself to allow to be tortured and murdered in the most hideous and bloody way. Don't they see the irony?The Abrahamic religions are the most awful and grotestque ever invented by human imagination. THE BIBLE SHOULD BE X-RATED!

I agree! I can't believe churches encouraged people to see "The Passion of the Christ".
Passion of the Christ was way over the top gory. They made the whole story the most horrific, graphic and pornographic as possible...and then they show it to their children under 18 in their homes and churches.
I always said that a Bible needs a warning label on the cover.
South Park said it best, The Passion was a snuff film.
Hi Tommy, yep...the Passion was an awful thing to allow children and teenagers to see. The blood and gore were so over the top, Mel really wanted to set a flame under their persecution complexes to stir them so much they would dig deep into their pockets and pull out those wads of cash to see the movie more than one time AND buy the videos and books. He will need those royalties now to pay his alimony checks and child support.
