Obama's little superstitious trinkets

I found this little item over at Friendly Atheist. I have been uncomfortable with Obama and his almost fundie-like faith, and the way he invokes his god into everything lately, and kissing up to the religious leaders, and now we find out he carries lucky charms and other items of "luck" around with him. The photo caption reads,
"Amongst the things that Barack Obama carries for good luck are a bracelet belonging to a soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit, a tiny monkey god and a tiny Madonna and child."
Does this mean that Obama is a Christian, Muslim, and Hindu? (snark)

Republican John McCain carries a lucky penny, a lucky nickel and a lucky rubberband.
And one of these men is going to have his finger on the nuclear button. Will either of them be consulting their lucky charms, or crystal ball or talking to their imaginary friend (or Dionne Warwick) to find out what they should do in a crisis situation?

It took Bush long enough to finish reading My Pet Goat in the last huge crisis, but to stop and rub all those lucky charms and talk to the Sky Boss, well...how long is going to take either of these two to make a decision of what to do?
