Did God make a mistake when he designed foreskins or did he make foreskins so Jews could have a circumcision ritual?

The Old Testament God, being a dick, is obsessed with them. It's just that He discovered He preferred the cut variety and decided to "farm-out" their production.

I was so young when I had my children at 16, 17, 18, that I barely knew what it meant. :( Scary.
