Easter - Christian or Pagan?

Acharya specializes in religion and mythology, critiquing and comparing them, and providing unique insights into their origins. Although born into a Christian (Congregationalist Protestant) family, Acharya does not subscribe to any particular religion, nor is she a hardcore "atheist." Acharya is the author of the controversial books The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold and Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled. In line with the whole Theocracy watch, The Dean has some video clips of a Margaret Atwood interview you'd enjoy.

Thanks spirula for that. I loved it, though I didn't agree with her statement that atheism is a religion. That is totally off base there. She calls herself a strict agnostic and makes it sound as if that was a religion. I love Atwood's writing, but she seems a bit wishy-washy and a fence-sitter concerning god beliefs.
