Obama had the perfect out too-- he could have blamed his *wife* for taking him!

The one thing the comic is wrong about, how could you sleep with all that yelling and damnation going on.
I just blame him for going to church.

Yep greg, that's what happens when you go to church! It gets you into trouble.
I just remembered something this morning. We used to go to this church when our kids were very small and the pastor was a huge bigot. One day he said something from the pulpit that we had never heard him say before. He said "I admit it, I'm a racist. I don't like black people, don't want to live by them, don't want them in my neighborhood"...we left after that.
This just goes to show the pastor in the pulpit is just a regular person with flaws and prejudices and why the sheeple look to them like some sort of divine entity with some superior divine message to be followed is beyond me.
And most of all, why do people like to sit there and be screamed at for a whole hour or more by some idiot even if he isn't a bigot is beyond me.

Sounds like someone was using Church for personal therapy.
